A new firmware is now available for our Remote IO 1810, v100, which is a complete rebuild of the existing firmware but now based on the same framework we use on most other PCBs. This enables us to share more code between products, and should be a more robust platform for future changes.
To clearly differentiate this version from the old generation, we’ve bumped the version number to v100, and we don’t plan any further changes to the earlier series. v100 has the same Modbus register interface as the current firmware, and should hence be fully backwards compatible.
These are the main features of the new firmware:
- New web interface
- All settings available in the web interface
- Ability to control outputs and show live inputs in web interface
- Same Modbus register interface as the current firmware
- Support for customer updaters to make future upgrades easier
- Based on Zephyr RTOS
