Description

The Serial Server board is a standalone board for converting serial signals to ethernet. Onboard ethernet switch eliminates wiring necessity. There is an inbuilt microcontroller which enables possibility for configuration and diagnostic.

Configuration is possible through Telnet, Web interface and by Modbus UDP/TCP protocol. Each serial port consist of a Moxa Miineport module with its own IP address. The serial ports can be linked to other Moxa serial servers or can be run virtually as COM ports.
