10 Gbps support on the Ethernet Switch
We’ve recently released a new revision of our Ethernet Switch. The new revision is fully backwards compatible but introduces the capability of supporting 10 Gbps SFPs.
This ensures that even if all network ports consume max bandwidth, there’s capacity to transfer all data onwards to an upstream system – enabling all kinds of AI and machine-learning use cases.

New Serial server
While Ixys believes that more and more devices will move to Ethernet-based interfaces, we acknowledge that there is still a large number of serial devices already in the field, which need to be supported for time to come.
To make such devices easier to integrate in modern systems, we’ve developed our own Serial server.
This gives us a more robust product which is easier to manufacture, and also enables us to for instance support timestamping serial sensor data at the source – especially useful for demanding survey applications.

Sensor IO
In systems with a large number of sensors, it’s easy to run out of analog inputs when using our Remote IO boards. For those applications, we’ve developed a dedicated Sensor IO board, with 8 channels, each with a dedicated power supply, one 4-20 mA analog and two digital inputs.
Each channel’s supply power can be turned off with full isolation, ensuring that a ground fault in any sensor can be isolated, and hence not affect the rest of your system.
