Description

The Ixys Remote IO 1810 is a standalone board for controlling proportional/on-off valves and reading sensors in demanding subsea and industrial environments. In total 18ea PWM outputs divided on 9ea output connectors for controlling valve solenoids. 10ea analog inputs for 4-20mA sensors. Input 5&6, 7&8 and 9&10 can in pairs be switched to digital NPN inputs with both raw on/off values and pulse counters to be used with incremental encoders or flowmeters.

Equipped with dual Ethernet ports and an inbuilt switch, the Remote IO 1810 supports Modbus RTU/UDP/TCP protocols and can be software-configured between RS232 and RS485 for maximum communication flexibility. A built-in web server allows simple configuration and monitoring via a standard web browser.

All outputs are disabled when the board is powered on. The PCB has a water detect input, which can be used to indicate water intrusion, and supply voltage measurement.
